Hamletscore is a live performance that uses video projection as the backdrop in order to give dynamism to the scene and to accompany the live music and reading with some narrative elements. Even though it is possible to create a classic frontal projection, the best results are obtained by using overhead projection, due to the presence on the stage of musicians and the actor.

Overhead projector screens use the light that comes off the video projector to great effect, also allowing them to be used in very bright spaces. Today this technique is used widely in film and theatre; particularly in theatre stage design due to its versatility and consequently the speed and ease with which the backdrops can be changed, as well as for the much lower costs compared to traditional set designs that are created ad hoc.

The technical requirements include a screen to project the background images and a professional projector, preferably one 4000 lumen strength or greater.

Obviously the performance can be adapted to the majority of spaces, taking into consideration each venue's details in order to find the best solution. The performance was created to be completely acoustic; only in halls with more than 500 seats is it preferable to use amplification, particularly for the voice.

Hamletscore è uno spettacolo dal vivo che utilizza la tecnica del video come fondale, per restituire dinamicità alla scena e accompagnare con elementi narrativi la musica e la lettura dal vivo. Pur potendo realizzare una proiezione frontale classica, i migliori risultati si ottengono con la tecnica della retroproiezione, per via della presenza, sul palco, di musicisti e attore.

Gli schermi da retroproiezione sfruttando in maniera molto efficace la luce proveniente dal videoproiettore permettono un uso anche in ambienti molto illuminati. La tecnica trova oggi molto spazio nel cinema e nel teatro; soprattutto, si usa molto nelle scenografie teatrali per la sua tecnica versatile e, conseguentemente, per la velocità nel cambio dei fondali, oltre che per i costi contenuti lontani anni luce dalle scenografie tradizionali realizzate ad hoc.

Le necessità tecniche sono un telo da retroproiezione e un proiettore professionale preferibilmente di potenza superiore ai 4000 lumen.

Ovviamente lo spettacolo si può adattare alla maggior parte degli ambienti, valutando di volta in volta la soluzione migliore. Lo spettacolo nasce totalmente "acustico"; solo nelle sale con capienza maggiore di 500 posti è preferibile utilizzare una amplificazione, soprattutto per la voce recitante.
